Joseph Pilates wrote "Physical Fitness is the first requisite of happiness." Everyone deserves this & everyone can achieve a stronger, more flexible and more centered body. I teach Pilates for all bodies and modify it for any and all limitations.
Your core is much more than your "abs". Your core is the structured center of your body- multiple muscles working dynamically with the breath to help maintain support for your spine, organs & the rest of your frame while you move. In other words, how you move, how you bear weight, how you stand and how your joints & limbs move all depends on your core.
Or both! The choice is yours- there is a lot to be gained from working with the Pilates equipment, whether increasing your strength or the need to increase support for your fitness level. That said, the mat work is fundamentally important & lots of fun, using rollers, balls, bands, weights and of course, the Magic Circle.

Her teaching is dedicated to helping students cultivate a deeper level of curiosity and awareness of their bodies. Equally important to her is finding the joy and empowerment within that process. Hilary’s work with students of all levels and varying physical histories has convinced her of the body’s ability to radically change and heal. She brings 20 years of experience and an extensive study of anatomy, dance, yoga and fitness to her work by focusing on alignment, body mechanics and injury prevention. She's also a mom of twins, who brought to her torn abdominals & lots of joy,
